Dr. Vicki Hill, Assistant Dean for University Curriculum at SMU, recently assisted Embrey Human Rights Program Director Rick Halperin in leading 30 members of the SMU/DFW community on the program’s annual Holocaust study trip to Poland. The unique immersive two-week experience — this year marking its 20th anniversary — takes participants to more than a dozen concentration-labor-death camps that existed during the country’s Nazi occupation in World War II (1939-1945).
