SMU Beats TCU (in Graduating Students!)

College Completion 2012
The Chronicle of Higher Education

Ever wonder how successful SMU and its students are at earning undergraduate degrees?  The Chronicle, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, collected and analyzed data from 3,800 degree-granting institutions, including public, private, community and for-profit colleges.  Institution profiles include graduation rates by race, average cost to graduate, comparison with peers such as TCU and Rice, and ability to download the data for further analysis. Unfortunately the data isn’t as pristine or as inclusive as we’d like, counting only groups of first-time, full-time degree seeking students.  Transfers, students taking a year off or going part time were not included in the data set.  Nevertheless, interesting reading.
