Therapy Dogs at Fondren Library Center

Reduce the stress of studying for finals!
Spend some time with a therapy dog at the library!

Location: Fondren Library Center Information Commons (1st floor, Fondren Library East)
Date:
Monday, May 4
Time:
1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Therapy Dogs at FondrenAbout the Event: A team of registered therapy dogs from the Paws Across Texas group will be at the Fondren Library Center on Monday, May 4.  Research has shown that spending 5-24 minutes with a calm dog reduces blood pressure and the levels of stress hormones in the body**.

Students are welcome to stop by and visit with our four-legged friends as they are getting ready for finals. We are proud to partner with Paws Across Texas and the A-LEC (Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center) to make this event paws-sible.
