What  is  the  role  of  a  “Book  on  Loan”?
A person serving as a Book will be “borrowed” by a visitor and will get a chance to tell their story and engage in discussion about their unique experiences. Books at Living Library events elsewhere report that they felt like they made a difference and even learned from those who borrowed them.

Training
Every individual Book must attend training in order to participate in the event. The training will help prepare the Book for the Living Library experience and let them know what to expect during their time at the event.

Please plan to attend one training date:
Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 5:00pm in the Women’s Center
OR
Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 12:30pm in the Multicultural Student Affairs Office.
