Homecoming has come and gone again, but what a great weekend! The Black Alumni Happy Hour on Friday night was a great success. The attendance was so much more than we expected that our group spilled out of our designated area into an adjoining area. There was representation from classes in the 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000’s, and 2010’s.
In short, great space, great location, and wonderful people. Game Day Saturday was jam-packed with excitement. There was the parade, the boulevard, and we won the game. The best part of Game Day was being back on campus and having the opportunity to see so many friends from the past. University Worship on Sunday was truly a blast form the past. Sitting in Perkins Chapel and listening to the Voices of Inspiration just transported you back to a time that holds so many great memories.
Hope you made it out to some of these events, if not hope to see you next year!
