Jim Hart, Director of Arts Entrepreneurship in Meadows School of the Arts at SMU, comes most recently from Oslo, Norway. While in Oslo, Hart founded The International Theatre Academy Norway, the only school of its kind Europe.

Hart brings his ten years of research, entrepreneurship and artistry to the training program and minor of Arts Entrepreneurship.

On November 6, 2012, Hart was interviewed by “American Theatre Magazine” in a roundtable discussion with other leaders in Arts Entrepreneurship in higher education. This article is scheduled to be published in their January edition, which has an annual focus on education.
