Help recruit a new class of Mustangs! SeRVe assist in the University’s recruitment efforts in their local areas. These alumni volunteers represent SMU at local college fairs, correspond with prospective and admitted students and attend events for prospective and admitted students.
Be a mentor, host an extern over winter break, be a part of our alumni informational interview database, attend on-campus events, provide support for alternative breaks, work with Emerging Leaders, teach a class with CAPE, or hire an SMU student intern. SMU Connection has all of these possibilities for volunteering!
Plan events and activities for alumni in your area! Start a chapter in your area or get involved with the leadership team from one of our existing chapters.
Get involved with Dallas Young Alumni! This program brings together local, DFW area alumni who graduated between 1994-2014. Serve on at least one event host committee, help guests register at events and recruit your friends to attend events.
DFW-based Boards and volunteer programs with a focus on implementing quality social and networking events and promotion of the annual giving. Groups include Black Alumni of SMU, Hispanic Alumni of SMU, Military Alumni of SMU and the President’s Scholars of SMU Committee.
Join the Stampede to help SMU reach The Second Century Campaign goals! Encourage your classmates to support their alma mater by asking them to make an annual gift to the University.
