When we volunteer for SMU, we support the University's efforts that strengthen our alumni network and create ripples of success in our lives. Choose the volunteer programs below that most interest you, and a representative from the Office of Alumni Engagement will provide you with more information!
  • Ways to GET INVOLVED:

    Participate in local community service with your fellow Mustangs. Opportunities include providing tours of SMU's campus for elementary and middle school students and representing SMU at Dallas/Fort Worth civic events. (D/FW residents, only.)
    Help recruit a new class of Mustangs! SeRVe assist in the University’s recruitment efforts in their local areas. These alumni volunteers represent SMU at local college fairs, correspond with prospective and admitted students and attend events for prospective and admitted students.
    Give your time to help the next generation of world changers start their careers! Volunteers have the opportunity to mentor a fellow alum or student, participate in a job-shadowing externship program during a student’s Winter Break and attend on-campus career center events (if living in the DFW area).
